Prof. Dr. Emre ŞEKER,

Ankara Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi’nde başladığı Diş Hekimliği eğitimi sonrasında, Kurucu kadroda yer almak üzere Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi Protetik Diş Tedavisi Anabilim Dalı’nda Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalışmıştır.

“Kemik Grefti Uygulanan Üst Çenede İmplant Destekli Porselen Dişlerde Kuvvet İletiminin Üç Boyutlu Sonlu Elemanlar Yöntemi İle İncelenmesi” konulu doktora tezini tamamlayarak bu kürsüden “Bilim Doktoru” ve Sağlık Bakanlığı’ndan “Protez Uzmanı” ünvanlarını almıştır. 2012 yılında yine kuruluş aşamasında görev almak üzere Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi'nde Yrd. Doç. kadrosuna atanmış burada 5 yıl süreyle Lisans ve Lisansüstü seviyede Klinik ve Örgün Eğitim-Öğretim Üyesi görevlerinde bulunmuştur. 2017 yılında girdiği Doçentlik Sınavında Doçentlik ünvanını almış ve Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesinde Doçentlik Kadrosuna atanmıştır. 2018 de Üniversitedeki görevinden istifa ederek DENTARMA Dental Estetik ve İmplantoloji Kliniğini kurmuş, klinik çalışmalarına kendi kliniğinde devam etmiştir. Temmuz 2021 tarihinde İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinde Doçent kadrosuna atanarak Akademiye geri dönen Emre ŞEKER, Nisan 2022 tarihinde Profesör Kadrosuna atanmıştır.

Yerli ve yabancı dergilerde 30’dan fazla makalesi, ulusal ve uluslararası kongrelerde 50’den fazla bildirisi bulunmaktadır. Mesleki ilgi alanları arasında implant üstü protezler, Tomografi destekli 3 boyutlu implant planlaması, CADCAM protez sistemleri, zirkonyum-laminate porselenler ve gülüş tasarımı bulunmaktadır.

İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesinde Lisans ve Yüksek Lisans eğitimlerini veren Prof. Dr. Emre ŞEKER Klinik Çalışmalarına Eskişehir'de 2018 yılında kurduğu "DENTARMA Dental Estetik ve İmplantoloji Kliniği"nde devam etmektedir. İngilizce bilmektedir. Diş Eti ve Hastalıkları Uzmanı Dr. Öğretim. Üyesi Başak ŞEKER ile evli ve bir erkek, bir kız çocuk babasıdır.
