The biggest disadvantage of bridge treatment is that the healthy teeth at the two ends to which the bridge will be attached are cut and reduced a little. This situation often worries patients. The bridge option to be preferred for medical needs or economic reasons can be applied if deemed appropriate by the physician. Patients may prefer to choose bridge prostheses, which are more affordable in terms of price. However, the service life of bridge applications is too short to be compared with implant treatment and needs to be renewed over time. It is also certain that implant teeth are more robust and aesthetic in the mouth.
Although the price is higher, implant teeth come to the fore with the comfort they offer. Bridge treatment, on the other hand, is economical but short-lived and less durable. Therefore, the advantages offered by both treatment methods can be learned from a specialist physician in detail, and a choice can be made between the two.
